Our PeoplePeter Mackey is a seasoned design engineer and project manager for 2rw’s Design Group. He is involved with the design of energy efficient systems for residential, institutional and commercial applications. Peter is a LEED Accredited Professional with experience designing high efficiency HVAC systems. Peter’s professional registrations include: North American Technicians Excellence (NATE) Air Distribution; NATE Core – ACE Installation Technician; EPA Type I & II refrigerant certified and ASHRAE Associate Member. Peter received a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Virginia in 2004. Daniel Cardwell manages 2rw’s Energy Group. Dan assists clients in developing utility conservation strategies for cost reduction and improved efficiency. Additionally, he oversees facility assessment services. A sampling of Dan's recent project responsibilities include: energy and water efficiency audits; quantitative analysis of resource savings; financial analyses of projects; and technical support for performance contracts. Dan has been a part of energy and water audits of more than 18 million square feet of public and commercial buildings as well as worked closely with nearly 20 different housing authorities across the United States. Dan received a BS in Integrated Science and Technology with concentrations in energy and manufacturing from James Madison University in 2005. Dr. Benjamin Cameron manages 2rw’s Web Services Group. Ben develops and manages the implementation of various web-based services and products. His experience includes: providing logistics for the collection of building and resource usage data; establishing protocols enabling electronic transfer of resource usage data; developing web-based applications for utility allowance calculations; developing computer database and calculations algorithms for energy auditors; and developing and managing Energy Vibe™, a comprehensive energy and environmental awareness program. Ben received a B.S. with distinction in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Virginia in May 2001 and a Ph.D. in Mechanical/Aerospace Engineering from the University of Virginia in May 2007. Ben is an FAA certified private pilot. |
